| Associate an icon with any file How can I associate an icon with any file, like you used to be able to do with Win98. You used to be able to right click a file and associate an icon with it. I am only able to do this with folders in XP. |

You can right click, select properties, and select change icon if it is a shortcut. For an entire extension, open Windows Explorer, select Tools, Folder Options, File Types, Advanced. |
